A hero doesn't have to have powers.
Whenever you think of a hero, you think of someone with powers, fame; someone that EVERYONE knows. Everyone knows Superman, Batman, Martin Luther King Jr., and all of these famous people, real or fantasy. But what some of us don't know is that there are bigger heros than them. It's you. It's your neighbor. It's everyone that does a good deed not for their benefit, but for the sake of doing something good. Now you may think, how am I a hero? When you do something kind and caring for others out of no gain, that is an act of a hero. After all, isn't that what Superman does? Now think about this. You see someone at school that has no friends. No one likes that person, and you don't care for them that much. When a group activity comes along, and that one person is left, and you see the hurt in their eyes. This would be a perfect chance to be a hero. Be their friend. You don't have to be BEST friends, but listen to them, give them company. Who knows, maybe when people see you with them, they might like them. Basically, blog is here to encourage you to be the bigger person. Help out those that need it. Who knows, that one person may decide not to cut themselves, to take those pills, to point that gun at their head, or to go to school with that very gun. No one knows what these people are thinking, but we do know that everyone needs company. So here's the challenge. Put people before you. Be the bigger person. Help those people in need. Even if they don't say thank you, who cares, cause He noticed it and He will notice every one of those heroic acts. Do it for the person.
